Montague Foods Arts Scholarship and
Amber Rose Brown Memorial Scholarship
High school juniors and seniors residing in Montague and Whitehall school districts are
eligible to compete for $2250 in college scholarships. Submit an original piece of artwork
and a completed application to the Nuveen Center by April 5.

The public is invited to view the artwork on display at Montague Foods from April
9-May 21. Vote for your favorite and help a talented teen on their way to college!

THREE-RING CIRCUS
June 13, 14, and 15 at 7:30 p.m. at the Howmet Playhouse

Follow the ups and downs of life on the road with a travelling circus troupe in this hilarious
musical variety show directed by Alice Gambel. Featuring classic songs from your favorite
movies and stage productions, along with brand new characters, delightful dances, and
astounding circus acts, the local youth talent in this Three-Ring Circus is sure to amaze you!
As loyal Nuveen Theatre audience members have come to expect, director Alice Gambel
has crafted a show that is as fun for the adult audience members as it is for the youngsters.
Bring the whole family, or come by yourself for an evening of big top entertainment. Arrive
early to win some prizes at our mini-midway (weather permitting).
General admission tickets are available for $6 per person at the Nuveen Center, Whitehall
City Hall, Pitkins, and the Book Nook.

The imagination of Peanuts cartoonist Charles Schulz comes to life in the original musical
version of You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown. From the playground to the baseball field,
you will laugh at the insecurities of Charlie Brown, dramatics of Lucy, life philosophies of
Linus, musical genius of Schroeder, and the antics of Snoopy. Accompanied by other
members of the Peanuts gang, these characters will warm your heart, tickle your funny
bone, and remind you that everyone has their own little personality quirks. A perfect show
for the entire family, this performance showcases talented and experienced Nuveen
Theatre Workshop students. Produced by the Nuveen Community Center for the Arts, the
educational branch of the Arts Council of White Lake.
