CLASS DESCRIPTION:

This class is designed for students interested in improving their acting skills
through improvisation. You may attend these sessions if your are a middle-
school or high school student.  The student will learn basic improvisational
techniques to help them become a better actor. The improvisational process
will help them develop creative and believable characters during
improvisational performances and for other acting experiences. The student
will be asked to focus, use their imagination, have an “I can” attitude,
collaborate with others, and follow direction. The class is being conducted as a
class but should be viewed as a club opportunity where anyone within the age
bracket can join and participate during any of the class times. A substantial
savings is made if a student attends as a regular classroom student, but if a
student has to miss a class here and there, the option of paying per class is also
available. ($5 per session).

A student must attend at least 5 classes to be involved in the public
improvisation show, currently scheduled for Monday, November 24 at 7:00 p.m.
The location will be announced closer to the presentation date.

Class/club meeting dates:  Mondays -  September 15 through November 17.
                                                                  (Excluding October 27, 2008)
                                                                     6:00 - 7:30 p.m.
Membership: $10 + $5/class OR All 12 classes for $40 (includes membership).

We must have 10 paid classroom students to proceed with the class.
